The Card Making 101 Program will guide you
thru the designing process...
Module 1
On this module we will review all the basics for card making, from paper, ink, embellishments, die cutting, adhesives. And if you've ever struggled with making bows & knots I have included some videos sharing my tips for bow making that does not include any fancy tools.
Module 2
This module is all about stamping and coloring! We review the basics of stamping as well as multiple ways for coloring your images & backgrounds. If you do multiple cards of the same design, you will love the tips about how to make this process more efficient.
Module 3
On this module we learn about color combinations and sketches. This is where the designing process start taking place. You will learn how to look at cards to create your own sketches and create unique cards. This is where you will learn how to kick-start your creativity to come up with endless card making ideas!
Module 4
This module is where we put together everything we have learned to this point and start generating card sets. At this stage you will be able to come up with as many card looks as you want and make card sets that could even be your next card class (if you ever choose to do those)
Bonus Training
Finally I added a Bonus training to step up your card designs to the next level by creating your own Fun-Folds!. On this bonus training you will see how to easily transform any of your designs into Fun-Folds or maybe even a pop-up card!

I truly believe that card making is powerful and very important in our mental health, which is why I created this program after hearing feedback from card makers like you on what they needed and where they were struggling when it came to making cards. I wanted to create a program to help you realize how easy this can be, using what you already have!
The Card Making 101 Program it's unique from all my classes, as it provides a guide for designing your own cards, rather than teaching you how to make a specific set of cards.
This Program will help you to quickly design your cards, as I share my process to kick-start your creativity to be able to come up with endless card ideas confidently every single time. You'll be able to maximize your crafting time whether you are designing cards for yourself or for an event!
This program is not going to be open all year round. I love to support all my students during the length of the program, both new students and alumni, and I make myself available during this time to make sure I can help you as much as can. This is why I close the doors after the registration period ends and only open this program a few times a year, so I can focus on the class sessions with you.

ABOUT ALEJANDRA GOMEZ (ALLIE)
Hi! I am Alejandra Gomez (Allie) from Creating with Allie. I am a Stampin' Up! demonstrator that works full time in the chemical industry, a wife to Edmundo and a Mom to Oliver and Addison.. And I am building my online business while I juggle all things in life.. As you can imagine life can be a bit hectic and crazy but crafting has always been what keeps me sane.
A little bit of my story.. I grew up in Mexico City and during my first job out of college I got transferred to Dallas TX on an expat assignment.. I was supper excited with the opportunity, but right after I moved I soon started getting homesick.. A couple of friends introduced me to scrapbooking and it helped me overcome feeling alone.. I loved seeing all the family pictures and documenting the memories.
It made me feel connected with my family again..
Within a few months I found out about Stampin' Up! and instantly fell in love with card making. I love that it is easy to make and that within some minutes I can make a card, so there is always that instant gratification.
I literally became obsessed with card making and I tried every single new technique I saw online. I just couldn't stop making cards, and I also realized that when I was making cards I could disconnect and relax from a hectic day or week at work, so every weekend became my crafting time..
A few years later, I discovered that card making was more than just a way to relax and unwind..
When we decided to start our family, we got pregnant pretty soon.. sadly after 15 weeks we lost our first baby girl.. As you could imagine these days were very sadden and painful in our hearts. But to be very honest, crafting was the one thing that help me heal.
Between my mom & my hubby literally forced me to go to my craft room.. I didn't feel like doing anything, and at the beginning I would just sit and cry.. but little by little I started cleaning my room, then organizing my stamp sets & die sets.. one day I just checked ink pads to reink them and little by little I started stamping and then making cards again.. and without even noticing my heart healed.
It was at this very moment that I realized of the power of card making.. I realized that during the time I was making cards my mind would disconnect from the pain I was feeling in my heart, allowing it to heal. This is when I knew I had to share the power of card making with as many people as I could. Sharing with others how easy this is, and how everyone can make cards.
I know you don't have to be creative to make cards, you just need a guide to show you how easy this can be.
Card making can help you in so many ways.. it can help you relax and unwind from a crazy day, It can heal a broken heart and bring joy back into your life.
What is even better, is that you can share that joy with others when you mail your cards to them.. I know that when we share one of our handmade cards to our loved ones, we brighten their day, and put a smile on their face as they know we are thinking of them.
